Treatment of Volume Loss
Over time, Hyaluronic Acid tends to decrease in our skin. This phenomenon causes a loss of volume in the face with a sagging of the features. Certain folds in the lower part of the face become more pronounced and the facial contour changes. By injecting fillers of different concentrations at different levels, you will regain the lost volume.
Generalities of Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid plays an essential role in the elasticity, volume and hydration of our skin. The hyaluronic acid is also widely spread in our body, in particular at the level of the articulations and the eyes, which confers him therapeutic uses in ophthalmology, rheumatology, orthopedics. Unfortunately, the natural quantity of hyaluronic acid decreases with age, which leads to the appearance of wrinkles on the skin. hyaluronic acid injections fill the intercellular spaces in the dermis that are created, thus reducing the depth of wrinkles and increasing the skin’s hydration.
The Effect of Aging on Facial Volumes
Starting from 30 years old, the loss of facial volume is mainly due to the natural phenomenon gradual loss of volume and bone density. The subcutaneous fat and bone structure of the face decrease, muscles relax and modify facial features. The temples, cheekbones and tear through become deeper. Nasolabial folds, jowls and folds in the corner of the mouth appear. Wrinkles are therefore a natural sign of aging.
Aging, decrease in hormonal levels lead to less cell renewal. The upper layers of the skin produce less hyaluronic acid, resulting in a decrease in skin hydration.
Simultaneously, reduction in elastin results in thinning skin.
External factors that accelerate aging:
- Prolonged sun exposure
- Smoking
- Chemicals
- Pollution

The product is injected slowly and precisely, with a good knowledge of the anatomy. A single area or the entire treatment can be done in one session, depending on the patient’s wishes. The duration of the session varies from 15 to 50 minutes. The results are immediately visible, the volumes reappear and the contours are redrawn. The session ends with a light massage of the treated areas with a soothing cream. Make-up can be applied immediately afterwards if needed.
